Mount Pleasant Social Club

Every Friday afternoon, the Mount Pleasant Social Club formed in 1976, meets at St Andrew’s Hall at 2pm.

This club is not connected to the church and members are from any or no religion.

They find the hall comfortable and well cared for. The group occasionally has entertainers for the first half of the afternoon and then enjoy tea, coffee and biscuits followed by a game of bingo. They always run a Christmas dinner trip and this year held a day trip to Southport in September.

The club gives a warm welcome to anyone in becoming a member.
