Meet our Monday Gang

Every church needs its volunteers, and every Monday a small, dedicated band of our retired parishioners work together as a team to ensure that the fabric of the church and church hall are well maintained. The first job is to ensure that both buildings are clean and in good order.

After an inspection of the buildings any maintenance that may be required is noted and put on a list. Any small jobs are done in order of priority, and large jobs requiring outside contractors are reported to the PCC for approval. As in any good organisation the most important part of the morning is the coffee break, when the team puts the world to rights.
